Everyone Will Be Buying $1 Candle Holders for These Christmas DIYs (Incredibly Easy Glassware Hacks)
With the holiday season around the corner, you can create stunning decorations without breaking the bank. At just $1.25 each, Dollar Tree glass candle holders are versatile and can be transformed into delightful DIY projects. Here are some incredibly easy glassware hacks that will elevate your Christmas décor this season.
Cute Candy Dishes
Start by turning these candle holders into adorable candy dishes. Pair a few stacked candlestick holders with fishbowl candle holders. Remove the lids from candy containers and stack two candlesticks, using the top upside down for added height. Paint them red with chalk paint for a festive vibe. Though not airtight, these dishes are perfect for showcasing individually wrapped candies, making them a festive treat for kids and guests alike!
Mini Bottle Cap Candle Holders
Next, grab mini bottle caps from the ornament section and transform them into charming candle holders. After filling in the top hole with hot glue and removing any sticky residue, paint the candlestick holders white. Combine E6000 glue and hot glue to secure the bottle caps on top. This will create a layered look reminiscent of elegant cake stands—perfect for holding beautiful LED candles.
Elegant Metal Candle Holders
Dollar Tree also has stunning metal candlesticks that can be dressed up for added elegance. A quick spray of gold paint enhances their aesthetic. For a more DIY approach, use a toilet plunger handle or any wood base along with flat candlesticks. These can be painted and adorned to fit seamlessly into your Christmas décor.
Create a Cocoa Bar or Cake Riser
Harness your creativity by using candlestick holders to craft a cocoa bar or cake riser. Attach a decorative plate with E6000 glue and enhance its security with hot glue for extra hold. It’s a beautiful way to showcase your holiday treats and still disassembles easily when you feel like changing the décor.
Adorable Mini Versions
For a smaller take, use two little candle plates with an upside-down candlestick holder to create a tidy, space-saving decoration. Spray it white, distress it for a rustic look, and fill it with tiny festive decorations. This cute piece can sit on your kitchen counter, spreading holiday cheer!
Cozy Lanterns
Transform these candle holders into cozy lanterns by pairing them with tall glass vases and painted bases. Dress them up with ribbon and greenery for a washy holiday feel. These lanterns can hold LED candles, bringing warmth to your evenings and creating a beautiful ambiance.
Vintage-Inspired Holders
For those who love a vintage look, combine oil warmers with LED lights to create stunning candle holders. By adding rustic elements like ticking stripe ribbons and mini pinecones, you can create a chic vintage centerpiece that fits perfectly into the holiday theme.
Tiered Trays for Holiday Treats
Crafting a tiered tray is another great use for these candle holders. Style your tray with festive plates or just keep it simple by painting it black. Enhance it with cute embellishments such as lanterns and winter picks. This will make an eye-catching display for your holiday treats or cocoa station.
Gorgeous Party Displays
Lastly, use these candle holders for party displays. Stack up mini plates and decorate with seasonal fabric for a unique touch. These easy-to-make trays are perfect for serving treats at your Christmas gatherings, adding a heartfelt touch to your holiday celebrations.
Conclusion
These Dollar Tree glass candle holders offer endless possibilities for your Christmas DIY projects. From candy dishes and cozy lanterns to elegant candle holders and tiered trays, these hacks will ensure your home is stylishly adorned this festive season—all while being budget-friendly! Happy crafting!

Great ideas
what paint did you use? and what glue?
❤
👍🏼
To get stickers off you can use your hair dryer. Heating the sticker makes it peel off. Good for bumper stickers too.
My dollar tree doesnt have those lil candy bowls.
Super good ideas
I love mixing silver and gold.

Have you ever thought of teaching holiday workshops in your area and filming them & doing a Holiday Subscription Service for those of us that love your channel but couldn’t take in-person classes from you?
( I think this would be a game changer for your talent. )
Beautiful projects ❤️
Brilliant idea thanks for sharing
❤
I will pay this silver or gold
Just found your videos and love them and super ideas !! Thanks so much
Those decoupaged plates would be awesome chargers under dessert plates
You have great ideas and they turned out so cute ! Good work ! By the way, to remove those labels that have a rubbery glue, bring out the hair dryer and blast it for a few seconds; the heat softens the glue and the label just peels up and off. Much easier and cleaner.
Rubbing alcohol works amazingly well to remove adhesive/stickers. I used to swear by Goo Gone but have mostly switched to only using alcohol (cheaper, easier to clean up, doesn't leave greasy residue, less odor). Of course, the higher alcohol % the better. I use 91%
I’m new at this and the paint comes off all the time. Mostly when I try to put a second coat on there. Any help please
Acetone nail polish remover will take off the sticker completely
Everything is beautiful and easy to make

Fabulous variety of uses for these candlestick holders.
Really good projects❤. I so wish DT would change the design of their glass candlesticks, though. They have had the same design since they opened. ❤️Katelyn, since you give your followers so many good tips and projects, I have one for you. I spray my slime cl surfaces with a MATTE sealer before I paint them. After the paint dries. I again spray the now painted surface with another layer of MATTE sealer, and then apply a lady coat of paint, followed by another coat of MATTE sealer. I want my work to last. My method works well❤
I love your simple but absolutely adorable ideas
All your crafts are so neat thank you for sharing, god bless
I hope everything works out for your wife, I will pray for alma, for you, godbless

Thanks for the inspiration and hostess gift ideas. And best wishes for a speedy recovery! You are in my prayers.
Try initially spraying the candle stick holders with a clear matte spray to help keep them from chipping, it will help paint hold.
Your crafts had such s sweet look about thm.🎄
Katelyn !Those were all terrific! You were one of my first utube friends long time ago! And you inspired my confidence to start crafting!! Thank you !
All of your artwork is gorgeous 👍💯💕 you are amazing.
you have some really cute ideas and some that i haven't seen elsewhere, such as the fabric plates at the end. I would like to give you some constructive criticism because you have a very nice voice and an engaging personality. however, for some reason many diy youtubers are using this upspeak in their videos. sometimes it's randomly placed in the middle of sentences and often at the end. it makes you all sound alike and it's not natural to listen to. i can see that it has to be practiced to attain it and i think youtube itself must be telling you that it's a good thing. it's not. i've vowed to stop watching ppl who use this talk. you sound very natural at times (your own voice patterns are wonderful) and then you slip into this upspeak. i say this because i want you to succeed. something about you i like. as for myself – i've unsubscribed to those who use this speech technique because it makes it hard for me to listen to their whole videos. i've founjd many diy youtubers who won't use upspeak and i've decided to stick to those. that's how bad this technique is. please use your natural speaking voice, it's lovely!
Katie, I know this video is almost a year old, but I had to look at it again!!!! I just LOOOOOOVE the Candle Holders you made. SOOOOOOO FESTIVE!!!!
I WILL BE PRAYING FOR YOU,SO SORRY FROMKS
